The Happy Go Lucky Crew

Raina Wimbush

Head Dog Trainer/Dog walker and President of Happy Go Lucky inc.

Raina has been training and handling dogs for the past 6 years. She has successfully trained over 30 dogs of all sizes, shapes and breeds. She also handles dogs in Agility and Obedience. Her newest dog "Toasty" the Pomeranian was an extraordinarily hard dog to manage before she got him. He was given up by two different homes for fighting with animals. Now he is an amazing dog to be around. He is even a Happy Go Lucky Helper and his new job is to help other people with their problem dogs.  Raina has had experience with all forms of animals and has even been able to train kittens to do tricks.

The Happy Go Lucky Helpers

Toasty the Pomeranian

He has been Raina's companion for 8 months and in that time he has accompanied her to 3 cases where he was the picture of calmness.

Toasty's story

Toasty was given to Raina's cousin as a gift. But Toasty did not get along with her cousin's Boston Terrier. One phone call later and Toasty is at Raina's house living in the lap of luxury along with 2 big dogs that he seems to love to pieces.

Lucky the German Shepherd mix

He has been with Raina since puppy hood and he has always been a calm, cool and collected dog. He is the #1 Helper dog on staff. His pay? Treats and hugs.

Lucky's story

Lucky was Adopted at North Shore Animal League at 3 months old. Raina instantaneously fell in love with him. However she was forced to give the dog up to her Grandparents even after she spend months training him. That was temporary and when her grandparents moved she took Lucky back. He is now 2 and a half years old and the best trained dog in the neighborhood.

Dragon the Pit Bull

Dragon actually belongs to Raina's friend but she babysits him so much that on occasion he goes to client's homes with her. Not only is he a wonderful help but he is a great example of the American Pit Bull Terrier. He helps to squash the bad reputation that these dogs have.

Domo the Cat + more cats

What does that adorable kitten have to do with dog training? Well many people have issues where their dog doesn't like cats. Our cats are specially trained and know exactly what to do with dogs who aren't big fans of felines. They are introduced in a safe environment and we can assure all clients that both their dogs and the cats will be safe.

Teddy the Puppy.

Introducing.. The newest member of the HGL team, Teddy. Teddy is Half Golden Retriever and half wonder mutt. He was also adopted from North Shore back in July. He, Lucky and Dragon Share a birthday. Isn't that sweet. He will not be coming out with me until he is older but he will be featured in some upcoming videos.

Anthony

Anthony is there to help desensitize dogs to the sounds of skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades and any other thing that children ride on. He also is a young dog trainer in the making and sometimes assist trainers with puppy socialization and training.
